Reiki 1 Course in 2011

It is with much joy that EcoLite Candles presented the Reiki 1 Course for 2011.
It was a 2 day course held by Master Reiki Practitioner Marie Press (Accredited Trainer & Assessor) in early April 2011
The course was attended by 6 beautiful souls and Marie Press.  Held over two days, the students participated in a wonderful sharing, meditative and relaxed space whilst creating a healing environment where they were initiated into the practice of reiki.
By all accounts everyone had a wonderful weekend where friendships were created and strengthened, peace and love flowed and we all moved forward on our path of love and light towards being a positive influence on those around us and the world in which we live.
 

What is Reiki?

Healing energy for peace, joy and vitality

Reiki works on many levels. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being are all enhanced with reiki energy.
Rei is defined as an universal life giving and like the rays of the sun, it give life to living things. It is all knowing, a spiritual consciousness. Ki is defined as energy, this energy or life force flows through all things that are alive. Ki is also known as Light, Prana, Chi, Cosmic Energy.

There are three levels of Reiki:

Reiki 1 is to treat oneself, family and friends.

Reiki 2 is for people who would like to be practitioners and give distant healings.

Reiki Master enables to teach others.
